International giveaway: Full Circle by Regina Timothy

Today, in association with Regina Timothy, we’re giving away a free ebook of Full Circle, a contemporary fiction novel.

Goodreads synopsis:

37706656Eight years after the 9/11 attacks, Samia-Al-Sayyid an Iraqi immigrant is living a quiet life in New York City after she fled her home to avoid imminent death.

She works hard for her cold, heartless, high-strung boss, loves her seventeen-years-old-son, and cherishes the close friendship she has formed with her best friend Susan.

Nothing can go wrong, or so she thinks – until the estranged brother she left back in Iraqi shows up on her door step. Then she finds herself in a cab, on her way to the hospital to identify her son, a terror suspect who has blown the city, and with it her boss’ husband, and her best friend’s son. With everything lost, she is forced to flee to Iraq where she confronts her past. Will she make peace with her past? Can she get forgiveness for all the damage she has caused?

Full Circle is a contemporary fiction tale of friendship, family, and hope. It explores the devastation of loss, the great capacity to forgive and the lengths our loved ones will go to protect us.

  1. I literally have to write this comment because i’ve been meaning to subscribe via email and i forgot to tick the box. You have great books like this one. I’m intrigued cause i’m looking for family aspects in a book. It’s all romance these days (the popular ones) and although i read romance too i will always have a soft spot for books that focuses on family members.

    1. Oh, tell me about it. Romance still sells. And while I have no problem with romance as a genre, I’m more into literary fiction.

Women’s literary fiction has a lot of family aspects too. Do you like that better? Also, you should check out One Hundred Years of Solitude if you haven’t already. Can’t get more “family” than that book. 🙂

      1. Yep, it does. But books that’s family involved are always moving.

I’m always afraid of Women’s literary fic, maybe it sounds too formal for me. I’ll try to find some books there are starters. And will totally check it out on gr! Thank you!
