My TBR for Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon.

Waddup, nerds?

I’m going to be doing Dewey’s 24 hour readathon today. I’ve never done a readathon before, but since I’m already trying new things this month (read Look who fancies herself a poet now! | NaPoWriMo update), I decided to give this a try too.

For the readathon, I’ve chosen several YA contemporary books. It’s been too long since I read YA and I realized that just now. I needed a break from Bukowski, Faulkner, and random crime fiction novels (ya know, light reading), and that’s why I’m choosing to read more contemporary fiction for the readathon.

So without further ado, this is my TBR for Dewey’s.

and finally, because I love this dude and short stories in general,

What do you think of my TBR? Have you read any of these books? Let me know in the comments!

      1. I’ll admit, I first heard about this particular readathon from your post. I’d love to do a readathon soon, but I’m still working my way through a list of review requests at present. 😔 It does make me miss reading simply for pleasure. 📚💕

        1. There’s one in October. You could do it then! This was my first readathon and a lot of blogger friends convinced me about it. And they were right! It really is a great experience. You should try it if you have time in October. 😊

  1. I’ve read Simon Vs. and I loved it a lot, I hope you end up enjoying it as well!! ❤ A 24hr readathon is very brave, I would have taken part in it as well if I wasn’t on holiday 😢

    1. It finished just an hour back, and boy am I tired. 🙈 And OMG, Marta, I LOVED Simon Vs. ❤️❤️ I can’t believe I was missing out on it this whole while. Such a heartwarming, cute book. ❤️

This was my first readathon and it was extremely fun. You don’t have to stay up all night and read or anything. It’ll happen again in October. You should totally do it! 🙂

    1. It was great fun, Eva! I finished Simon, Go Ask Alice, and the short story by Poe. I was halfway through with Eleanor Oliphant…when the the readathon ended. I chose books I knew I’d love so that I wouldn’t give up during the readathon. So I really, really enjoyed everything I read.

You’ve had a great readathon, I see! How was The Little Prince? I’ve been meaning to read that one for a while now. 😊

      1. That’s awesome! I read in another comment you loved Simon VS. I do too! It’s such a heart-warming and cute story.

The Little Prince was amazing! It was actually my twentieth re-read or something, but it was my first time in French. I loved to read the original words! Would highly recommend that book🙂
